Inscrytion Scrybe of Beasts is planned to release on the Game Crafter in 2025. The full product description can be found HERE, along with links to free digital downloads as well as the Tabletop Simulator version for digital testing.

A key design challenge was creating original components that matched the game’s distinctive visual style while reformatting mechanics for in-person play. To streamline iteration and avoid costly reprints, I used Tabletop Simulator for testing and built handmade prototypes to refine gameplay. I prioritized a product that fans would love, while remaining accessible to new players. Maintaining high quality artwork and consistency with the original style was essential.

3D animation was new and exciting territory, and I used it to create a tutorial video that introduces gameplay on the shop page. Rebuilding the scene in 3D helped capture the spirit of the original game’s tutorial while showcasing how the physical version plays. You can watch the full video below.
